Wildride sled dog rodeo in downtown Anchorage

 

Alaska’s only live sled dog show!  Cheer on Alaska’s amazing canine athletes- the dogs of the Iditarod.  Witness their intelligence, strength and enthusiasm. Mushers compete head to head with their fastest dog team, best trained lead dog, and quickest checkpoint routine. This exceptional show is filled with music, excitement and lots of laughs.  You’ll get a chance to meet the dogs and cuddle with our Alaskan Husky puppies. Rain or shine, the show is held in our comfortable covered bleachers.  

  • Cheer on your musher as they compete in our action-packed sled dog race. 
  • Watch a musher guide his prize Iditarod lead dog through our obstacle course using only voice commands.
  • Witness a 16-dog Iditarod team pull a 10,000 pound truck from a stand still.
  • Cuddle our adorable husky puppies.
  • Meet Hugo, one of the stars in Disney’s “Snow Buddies”!
  • Marvel at Anchorage’s favorite Malamute, Buddy, as he performs his one-of-a-kind stunt.

Seavey’s Iditarod Dinner Show   

 

Join us for the dinner show and get even more. 

Enjoy a gourmet dinner served in our Iditarod Dining hall. As you dine, the mushers will share with you their stories from the Iditarod Trail. You’ll also experience the action and excitement of the WildRide Sled Dog Rodeo.

 

2 Hours      Adults $59        Children (2-11) $29             6 pm & 7 pm

 

(Dinner will be served at 6:00pm for guests attending the 6pm show.  Dinner will be served at 8:00pm for guests attending the 7pm show. Reservations are highly recommended. A shuttle service is available for $6 per person.)

 

Menu:

New York Strips seasoned with our house made spices and slow cooked to perfection. 

Baked chicken breast seasoned with fresh herbs. 

Served with Alaska grown potatoes, fresh vegetables, and sourdough rolls. 

Desert will be served with fresh brewed, whole bean coffee. 

A vegetarian dinner option is available upon request. (Advanced notice is appreciated.)

 

 

Kennel Tours   

 

Guided by an Alaskan dog musher, you’ll get a chance to meet our Iditarod sled dogs. Find out what it’s like to race and train for the Iditarod, and how we care for the dogs out on the trail. Snuggle with our adorable Alaskan Husky puppies, pose for pictures with our Giant Alaskan Malamute Buddy, and meet a movie star, Hugo from Disney’s “Snow Buddies”.

  • 30 minutes       Adults $12        Children (2-11) $6          

  • Every half hour from 11am-4pm - No reservation needed, stop by any time.
